I prepared this layout for More than words August Main Challenge inspired by a sketch and 'chill out' quote.

Przygotowałam ten layout na wyzwanie do More than words challenge - sierpniowe wyzwanie główne zainspirowana mapką oraz cytatem 'chill out', co oznacza wyluzuj.

I am finally going on holiday to have some rest and just 'chill out'. The Covid situation and my proceeding PHd thesis are really stresful and I need some time to tidy up on my head. I'd like to fly on the moon and forget about all that stuff, but it's still quite impossible.

W końcu wyjeżdżam na wakacje trochę odpocząć i wyluzować. Sytuacja z Covid i moim doktoratem wpłynęła na mnie niezwykle stresująco i potrzebuję się zresetować i poukładać wszystko w głowie. Najchętniej uciekłabym na księżyc, ale to nadal niemożliwe.

 

On this LO I put a transparent foil on the 12' paper sheet from Under the stars Collection. I also used some ephemeras and elements to cut andFand embossed hdf clock. I added some stamp and gold and white splashes. It was something unusual for me to use lack of media but I hope you'll enjoy my project. The full list od products is given at the bottom.

Na papier nakleiłam folię transparentną, emphemery i dodatki do wycinania z kolekcji Under the stars. Rzadko zdarza mi się używać tak ograniczonej liczby mediów: splasha w kolorze białym i złotym oraz stempla. Dodałam również zaembossowany na biało i różowy zegar z hdf.  Mam nadzieję, że spodoba Wam się mój projekt. Lista produktów dostępna na końcu wpisu.

Tag "Tu i teraz" / 'Here and now' tag

Hello everyone!

This project was inspired by Art Daily Cafe Challenge with the following moodboard.

The guidelines are following:

1. The colour palette: cobalt blue and white

2. Technique: create a background of paint with a brush

3. Theme: time/clock

4. Sentence: 'If you want a change in the future, become that change in present'

I decided to take part in this challenge. And now, let me introduce you my tag. I painted the Woodouts MDF base using brush and cobalt Impasto. Than I put some navy blue mist, blue saphire color glow and white watercolor paint (13 Arts) with a brush to create cosmic background. Than I used stencil (13 Arts) and white acrylic paint (Decoart) to make stars. I also added embossed stamps (WOW embossing powder white and stamp from 13 Arts) . The elements from molds were painted by cobalt Impasto and finished with silver wax. I added a girl by Tim Holtz and a sentence 'tu i teraz' which means 'here and now', like we need to start our change here and now - in present. That's why, I decided to refresh my blog starting today :) The clock and a wing are cut elements from AB Studio Paper Collection. Finally, I put some whitle splashes using acrylic ink by 13 Arts. You'll see the list of the products at the bottom.

Mixed media LO on mdf base - photo tutorial

dzisiaj mam dla Was tutorial na mediowe LO na bazie mdf. Wykorzystałam moje zdjęcie z wakacji w 2017 ze Sri Lanki, gdzie przymierzałam ich tradycyjny strój (tak potem dostałam uczulenia). Niestety obecna aura (lekko mówiąc) nie sprzyja podróżom, więc ja udałam się w sentymentalną podróż.

today I have a tutorial on mixed media LO for you. I used my phote made on vacation on Sri Lanka in 2017. It was my honeymoon. I was fitting traditional sari (yep, I got som rash after that...). So it will be a sentimental journey for me.

Na początek pomalowałam całą bazę mdf od Woodouts za pomocą białego gesso Pentart.

At the beginning I painted the whole Woodouts base using white gesso Pentart.

Potem nałożyłam pastę Cadence przez szablon od 13 Arts używając szpachelki.

Than I put Cadence paste through the 13 Arts stencil using a metal spatula.

 

Teraz czas na malowanie. Wykorzystam farby akwaralowe Gansai Tambi - różową i żółtą. Moją recenzję tych farb możecie znaleźć tu.

Now, it's painting time! I used watercolour Gansai Tambi - pink and yellow. You can check out a review of these watercolours I made here.

 

Farbami pomalowałam również porwane na kawałki tekturki w kształcie marokańskiej koniczyny od Snipart.

I painted also the Snip Art's chipboards in the shape of Moroccan clover.

Wszystkie elementy: tekturki, zdjęcie oraz kwiaty przykleiłam na klej termiczny. Dodatkowo pod kwiaty wykorzystałam gazę, aby zmiękczyć kompozycję. Dodałam napisy od Craft o'Clock, które potuszowałam po krawędziach różowym tuszem Distress. Na kwiatki nałożyłam złoty, brokatowy splash! od @13 Arts.

I glued on hot glue all of the elements: chipboard, photo and flowers. I put a little bit of gauze below flowers to make the composition more soft. The quotes from Craft o'Clock were hushed on edges with pink Distress ink. I put a little bit of gold, glitter Splash! from 13 Arts on flowers.

Wykorzystałam wykonane wcześniej wyciski z foremek od Primy. Maleńskie skrzydełka pomalowałam gesso a następnie złotą farbą od Decoart. Na koniec musnęłam różowym woskiem od Primy.

I used prepared before resin wings from prima Molds. I painted them firsly with gesso and than painted using gold DecoArt paint and I put a little bit of pink Prima wax.

Retro Art Journal Pages

dzisiaj chciałabym Wam przedstawić 2 strony w art journalu wykonane w stylu retro. Motywem przewodnim była czerń i biel, czyli kontrasty. Nasze życie i istnienie pełne jest szarości. Nie da się być w 100% czarnym, ani bez skazy - białym i to też chciałam w tym wpisie przekazać. Mam nadzieję, że się udało.

today I'd like to present 2 pages in my art journal. I made them in retro style. The keynote of this entry is black and white, so the contrast. In our life nothing is black nor white - everything is grey. This is what I try to pass in this project. I hope I did :)

Dzisiaj chciałabym Wam przedstawić moje leśne LO. Zdjęcie pochodzi sprzed kilku dobrych lat, gdy spędziłam majowy weekend we Francji, a dokładnie w okolicach Grenoble: Grotte les Cuves de Sassenage. Chyba takie LO, gdzie zamyka się część wspomnień robi mi się najlepiej.
